severe gut spasms and diarrhoea

Does anyone have severe gut spasms and diarrhoea in addition to the pancreatic pain?I've yet to be diagnosed but have had daily pancreatic pain for over a year and CP is suspected. I am seeing a pancreatic specialist in Nov (I've been seeing a gastro for the last year and all scans have drawn a blank). The problem is the symptoms have flared up big time in the last 10 days - ULQ pain through to back is much worse, spreading across whole of upper abdomen and back. But in addition I'm having agonising waves of gut spasms with diarrhoea. Have been trying to eat tiny bland amounts of food but getting nowhere. Losing weight. Just want to know if others with this get the upper AND lower spasms when they have a flare. Don't know where to put myself and don't know whether to go to A&E or not. No temperature.

I have a very similar problem. Left side of abdomen under rib radiating into my back. Feel nauseated though I don't usually vomit. The pain is so bad that I can't sleep and hurt terribly when I try to eat. Nothing helps but heat does soother it a bit. I say it feels like rats knawing their way out of me. The doctors have yet to diagose me and seem unconserned. However my life is changed completely. This flares up about every two months and I'll have 5-7 day episodes for a couple of months straight with only a day or two reprieve in between. I feel like I'm in a living hell. I'm curious how many others are going thru this but I honestly fear and pray for death at the same time and I'm not exaggerating....it's truly that severe. I wish you luck and hope you have a diognosis soon. Please keep me updated and take care of yourself. My family is so tired of hearing me complain I hope you have more support than I do dear.

I wonder if a Para-Cleanse can help you, since you mention what it feels like something knawing to get out of you. You can find good reviews of similar symptoms online.

And, check your blood type, I just learned we all should know to see what foods are good and bad but don't realize it.

I think for you is the intake of the food. And on those days it flares of is a reaction or deaction from certain foods either you ate or did not eat and the para resistence.

      Hope you feel better.

I heard someone with the problem of not gaining weight no matter what he ate but he wasn't in any pain, though. I wonder now how its going. For you, it does seem your body is not absorbing the nutrients and minerals by the time the food is out of the gut area - I wonder if something is present and need a deep cleanse with an antibotic.

On your diet, I would look into research based on your blood type. That could be the key to specifically match it up. I heard this from a herbalist and naturalist with over several decades in the business. It all starts with the food intake with our make up that depends on our dna, too. So a person has to find its own blueprint that works and if not, then symptoms occurs.

    Wishing you better health.

I am in a similar situation. I have been in and out of the ER a few times just this Mont with unexplained pain in my left side. It came on suddenly out of nowhere in the beginning of September and hasn't left. I have had ultrasounds, ct scans, Hida scan, colonoscopy and endoscopy done. I am waiting on blood work to come back for pancreas tests and chrons and celiacs . All my tests have come back so far, normal I am curious as to what your specialist will say.. there are so many unanswered questions.but you are not alone smile "
