Severe headache and persistent dizziness. Is these symptoms due to cervicomedullary junction?

From the past 1 year I am having recurrent headaches and severe persistent dizziness. Today I went for MRI. The MRI Report says that

1. Partially empty cella

2.hypoplastic right transverse sinus

3.thicken tectorial membrane and stretching of posterior longitudinal ligament at c1 level indentation over cervicomedullary junction.

Can some one tell me what is this and the appropriate treatment. The doctor said my MRI Report is normal. But my dizziness and headache are gradually increasing. What should I do? Is this cervicomedullary junction anomaly..I am 27 years male from india.

Philip have you seen a neurologist? Dizzyness can be caused by persistent headaches/migraine. I don't know about your other conditions but i do suffer your symptoms and i have a daily migraine condition.

    Good luck!!

Hi ann03093, Thanks for reply. I have seen many neurologists. They are telling that there is a compression in the cervicomedullary junction. Many of them not clear with the treatment plan. Even google search also doesn't have much information regarding my MRI report. Can you tell me what treatment you are taking for your condition.

I've tried every med they have, botox, nerve blocks and every painkiller including oral morph. They're now looking at my jaw, mri shows no cartridge on the left side, had 2 ops, now locked jaw. All muscles from shoulder right up round my head/temples and eyes are in constant spasm which gives me severe daily migraines.

All of the triptan family give me some relief but i prefer sumatriptan injections. I use ice packs all around my head every day.

I stay away from pain relief as much as possible, you become reliant very easily.
