hi not only do i have inner thigh, which i had last night and was crying and screaming, I also get them in every muscle in my legs, stomach, feet, back, and worse next to my shins that feels like a knife is scraping it. I have tried chiropractor, acupuncture, magnesium pills and foot creams, sprays, essential oil, injections ( because i have lower back disc issues that thought was the reason for the cramps. I have been getting cramps every day now for a week. usually just a few times a week. I pray they go away, because I just cant handle it any more. I have been in restaurants when I get up to leave and have them right there in the middle of the dining room, talk about embarrassing. I have also been in a store where 911 has been called. No one seems to know what will help me and I am at my wits end

I also get the severe thigh pain . Its been about 10 years since it first happened .

they always seemed to happen at night after Im

in a deep sleep and almost the same time 2:30 AM. I would jump out of bed when I felt the first "flick" then it started and fast , shooting up and down my thigh . I would cry , scream and couldnt move after its over I get cold , shaky , teeth chatter the next day I am

super tired and leg is sore.

    My Dr was and still

is baffled by this. I found sometimes if I didnt drink enough water "I thought" this might be the cause but now i have tons of water daily and it still happens. My Husband sat up one night and googled and read somewhere that someone took a teaspoon of Mustard ( like hotdog mustard ) so he said next time it happens I am feeding you a tsp of mustard. Well, the next bout i had He gave it to me and it went away immediately.

so now I have a small little fancy looking box on my nightstand with packages of mustard. yep.

I think in the last 3 years I have had it maybe 2x a year , I had knee replacement last year and started physio . Everything good. Now all of the sudden I have had two bouts in a week. I am

wondering is this affecting people of all sizes? Does it have to do with being overweight? I have always been a busy person and swim and walk a few km a day . I also read it could be adductors ? Has anyone had a diagnosis?? I too have told my husband while in middle

of this pain to cut my leg off

as its so terrible. I am 60 this year and cant see me dealing with this when Im older?? So glad I found this forum

and I hope people are still

on it . Thanks for any info. Hope the

mustard helps you. (ps a Winnipeg Jets Hockey player eats a small pack of mustard during a game to stop his cramps)
