Hi guys,

I'm 24 and from the UK, I was diagnosed when I was 16! I have always relied on my prescribed dermovate (or similar) when I have a flare ups. I have been battling a cold for the last week and when I am run down I am prone to flare ups. I have run out of my cream and as its the weekend I am unable to get some more until Monday. Does anyone know of any pharmacy or generic brands that have worked for them. My vuvla is extremely irritated and sore, I'm willing to try anything! Help?

Salt baths are a big help three times a day.

Vaseline or coconut oil. Stay moist.

Have your doctor prescribe the steroid ointment with 1/4 menthol. It cools the area. My dermatologist said it was the same as adding a bit of Vicks vapor rub.

I'm beginning when the itching was unbearable, my doctor prescribed a strong liquid antihistamine . It made me really tired but stopped the itching. I took it at night only.
