Severe pain from groin to upper thighs

Elderly male.  Started having groin pain that moves side to side then goes down my upper thighs.  Can hardly walk and now needs a walker or help.  No pain when sitting down or lying down, but when I get up to walk it's like someone is trying to saw my legs off.  Pain is intense.  Just started about 1-month ago.  Been to emergency twice.  CT-scan, Ultrasound, and blood work all OK.  Hope someone can help.  Emergency doctor is telling me to see an urologist, which I have made an appointment.  Anybody else having these issues?

Might sound bizarre but maybe also give a chiro or osteo a try. Sometimes things are out of alignment and need readjusting. I was recently suffering from abdomen pain and sever bowel issues post an op for a varicocele. A chiro that specialised in the nervous system helped me more than anyone. My quads were an issue, not engaging post the trauma/things being out of whack which he said were effecting my digestion. Whatever he did it helped.

I assume they checked for hernias on the ct?

Thanks for your response.  Ya, they checked for hernias, infection, kidney stones, etc.  Nothing showed up.  Did find some microscopic blood in my urine and "maybe" a little liquid around my sack, but nothing definite.  ER dr. just said maybe some support underwear may help, then suggested I see an urologist.  If I could just walk without this intense pain, I could deal with the rest.  Guess I'll just have to see what the urologist says, then may try chiropractor.

Hi Jimmie - did the doctors rule out a seminoma (tumor on the testicle)? Also could be epiditimytis? Do NSAIDs help reduce the pain? I have the same problem. Seems that physical contact of the testes with anything triggers the pain for several days and then it goes away with bed rest and nsaids.. Also sex triggers it too. I am 68. Good luck.
