Severe pain under right armpit and ribs

Posted , 4 users are following.

For the past 4-5 days, I’ve had pretty severe pain underneath my right armpit and ribs. There are no noticeable lumps anywhere. I haven’t run into my side or anything, so bruised or broken ribs are extremely unlikely I would think. A couple times I’ve felt a “pop” and the pain intensifies for a while. Massaging it and holding a little pressure seems to help a tiny bit. Breathing hurts, and coughing, sneezing and blowing my nose is very painful. I am at a loss for what this could be. I figured the pain would subside after a couple days but it definitely is not. It’s getting worse. Moving my right arm hurts. It’s interfering my ability to work and just ambulate and move at all, really. Any answers, suggestions, and insights would be GREATLY appreciated. Thank you very much.

Hi Psyk, sounds uncomfortable, have you not had chance to go see your GP, because it's hurting with everything you are doing and especially movement it sound very much like muscles but you all so say you haven't banged it or anything else, if you go back about two days before you started getting the pains did you do anything then even swimming or reaching for something. Do you have a cough at all, or have you had a virus recently
