I am a 47 year old woman in good health but was diagnosed with an ITU infection an was put on these tablets. The fist dose made me feel sick an gave me a blinding headache. My hands went numb an my whole body began to tremors after the second dose. My breathing was very shallow and I was wheezing badly. I suffer from slight asthma an had to take my inhalers several times to help me breathe. I lay in bed an my body was burning up. High temp an breathing still bad. Managed to sleep but woke after the most weird dreams an was hallucinating. Throat was very sore and dry an it was hard to even swallow. Pain in my bladder that radiated round into my lower back. Confusion an very spaced out feeling. Pains in the chest with tightness and coughing. No energy at all. Took an anti histamine as knew it was an allergic reaction to this drug. The symptoms eased after an hour but am still left with nausea an terrible pain in my bladder an lower back .Awaiting the doctor to call me. Reporting this drug to the FDA as a formal experience. DO NOT TAKE THIS DRUG.Awaiting the doctor to ring me an the tablets are in the bin where they belong.

If you feel that a symptom is due to a side effect of a medicine that you have taken then you may wish to report it to the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) via their yellow card scheme -
