Severe sore throat

I am woman, but I have a very very sore spot in the front of my neck to the right side of what would be my adam's apple. At the same time, I am experiencing acid reflux. It started two days ago when I lied down after eating Chinese food. The food wasn't spicy at all. Needless to say my throat is on fire. I have never had something like this. I want to attribute it to the acid reflux, but now I'm not sure. I have had this soreness on this side before, but can not remember if I was having acid reflux at the time. Also, it was never as severe as it is now. It feels completely raw and burning on just that one side.

Has anyone had this before? I'm a nervous wreck about my health. Since having my child in 2015, I have been experiencing all kinds of ailments. I worry all the time now cause I'm in constant pain. I was told two years ago that there was signs of GERD and I did have CT scan to rule out cancer. Just worried, this is really severe.

When are you seeing your doctor? I am not a doctor but it does not sound like the symptoms of anything serious. Maybe it is a reaction to the food. Go to the doctor asap please anyway for peace of mind. Keep well and strong
