Hi, can anybody help me?

ive had severe stomach pains for 4 long years now. The pain happens every month like clockwork, in the lower left side of my abdomen, and horrible back pain. When i am on my period i have NO pain at all, the pain starts around 15 days into my menstral cycle. The pain lasts around 8 days every month, it feels like im being stabbed in the stomach and lasts for 20 minutes, then happens every 2 hours. I vomit constantly through the 8 days of pain, i have gone days with no food and still vomit, so i dont believe its related to allergies etc. I had a laproscopy and my gyno wants me to have GNRH injections. If the pain stops, he will know its to do with my reproductive system, if the pain doesnt stop, he says it wont be my reproductive system, and will explore other options. Is this correct? Has anyone ever had these injections before? Or these exact syptoms before?

I'm sorry for the long message but its ruining my life and i cant cope anymore. Someone please help x

Yes, your Gynae is correct and this is a very good diagnostic plan. Its not a cure but will give your Gynaecologist an idea about treatment. If it doesnt help your pain you will know its not gynaecology related but as it coincides with your menstrual cycle it probably is. Good luck.
