severe stomach problems - help

Posted , 5 users are following.

For the past couple of months I have been having stomach problems on and off i.e. gas, acid, bloating and constipation also pain that radiates to my pain and chest. As of the past two weeks it has got a lot worse to the point I can barley eat a thing without my upper stomach feeling like its going to explode as it feels that full. The pain is pushing through to my back and chest quite severely the pain also seems to be giving me pulsating headaches. I am just getting quite worried as I need to eat but feel like fearing any food because of the pain and discomfort it is bringing me - any ideas of what could be causing this or if anyone has experienced the same kind of thing ?

    hey

when you say pulsating headaches.. would you say its more of a pressure in your head rather than an ache, like your head is in a vice?

Yes actually I would say it is pressure its as if the minute my stomach has a flare up it goes straight to my head to its so strange! Do you have an idea what it could be?

Could be IBS or gastritis. Try a food diary to see if a food is causing trouble and see your doctor who will be able to help you more.

You could rule out trapped gas by taking over the counter anti-gas tablets.

Hi thank you all for getting back to me. I have been back and fourth to the doctors been on different anti acids on rabperzole at the moment I dont know if they are making things better or worse! I have a ct scan soon hopefully they detect what is going on so I finally get the right treatment or medication for it!

You'll know if the PPI is making things better if your symptoms are improving; you'll know if they are making you worse if you are getting side effects after taking the medication.
