    Hi Kevin

Personally I would go to the Drs and get checked out. Your Dr may send you for an X-ray just to make sure everything is ok. It could also be a touch of Arthritis or Osteoporosis.

Let us know how you get on on.

      Hi Kevin,

Wow! You have been through the Mill.

Have you thought about physiotherapist? Maybe that would help ease the pain  and discomfort in your thigh.

Woodywhite you don't give your age but since 40 years have transpired since the accident you are clearly believing there could be some connection.  it was 40 years ago that I suffered an injury to my left knee. Only recently the left knee is giving me a lot of problems and the ligaments were so weakened that it would not be possible to fit a prothese as nothing to hold it in place. But yes I would say definitely it has something to do with your accident albeit it 40 years ago! I would not think for a moment of claiming anything on the insurance however as that would be a mistake. The medical profession will likely tell you it has nothing to do with anything that happened so long ago and like my own rheumatologist, shook his head and said nothing to do with it! Injuries from way back do play an important role on the rest of our lives. Think about our war heroes and all they came back with from the Front!

      Hi mayday

Thanks for your response , my thigh seems to be getting worse, I can actually still feel the dent where the car hit be albeit 40 years ago.

The pain is sharp and seems to be increasing in almost all of my thigh to my knee.i don't know wether to call my rheumatologist or my doctor. Could Sulpha have a reason for the pain bearing in mind I have been taking 4x500 mg for over 4 years now
