Posted , 10 users are following.
I have experienced this severe vaginal itching, first time i noticed it was a year ago when i was pregnant. Then i had it this past spring, and now. Its sooo itchy. I am constantly running to the bathroom to itch it. I looked up herpes, it doesn't seem to match it. Im not sure, any imput. Any thoughts? My appt is july 26th, im worried it will go away(i want it to) by then, but then i wont get a diagnosis. Im trying to get in sooner.

So sorry about the bother. Of course I can't hazard a guess about what it might be. Your doctor will have to take a look and maybe a biopsy.

Hi Julie, There is lots of good advice on this forum. Could be a lot of things. Took me almost 2 years to get up enough nerve to go to my gynecologist for a biopsy and it was Lichen Sclerosis. Until you are diagnosed you should lubricate yourself. I am using Emuaid with some success which takes care of the insane itching, but still have flareups of awful horrid itching. Before I was diagnosed I scratched so much I tore myself and bled. There are a lot of products on the market to control the itching. Read through these posts for advice. I've also used castor oil, some use Emu oil. Take it easy. We are here for you.

My diagnosis of LS which I had never heard of, started with the crazy itch! Just don't wait too long to see your doc! You will find lots of helpful ideas on this site. Organic coconut oil will help with the itch as well. Best of luck to you!??

Hi Julie, how you taken a mirror and had a close look at your undercarriage. If it is LS you will often see white plaques of shiny skin. Is sex a bit uncomfortable? Have you noticed any strange cracks or sores around your Vjay.
In any case, you need to see a doctor for a diagnosis. Some people don't get the white plaques of skin which makes it harder for diagnosis and if thats the case for you then its probably wise to have a biopsy.
