Severe Yeast infection or something else now?

Last year I have been getting chronic yeast infections, every month or other month, took diflucan and it cleared them up within a week. Just last month I had unprotected sex with someone and 1 day later I had the feeling of a yeast infection coming on, did not know if it was one yet so I had sex that day and the pain was so bad that we had to stop. Went to the doctor the results came back positive for a yeast infection took 2 doses of diflucan, symptoms went away for about a day then it came back and i was put on more diflucan just took a third dose yesterday the discharge seems to have gone away but still a little itchy the only thing that really bothers me a lot still is the burning. It does not burn when I pee but when I am too touch around the opening it burns even if I just spread it open can someone please tell me what this can be. Does anyone think that is herpes? There are no sores, but it has been over a month now I am thinking it can be something more than a severe yeast infection? Also when I went to the doctor the first time I got tested for Herpes as well but it was only a week after exposure, the results came back negative for H2V2 but for HSV1 it was postive but the doctor said I have had that for a while so it would not be a new infection. I know it came back negative for HSV2 but there was not enough time for the antibodies to be created since it was a blood test she did, so now I am worried it is herpes. Please someone help I cannot sleep because of this or get my life together, I went back to the doctor to get retested yesterday but wont know for another week so it is killing me to worry this much.

Uses a yeast cream with a steroid in it, ask your Doctor, no its not herpes, yeast can burn itch making the skin swell, you will get over it  give it time once you start this cream, I forgot the name of it your Doctor will know.
