Severely depressed and don't know what to do

I recently moved with my partner across the country. Transitions are never easy for me, and it quickly became clear to me that I was having a major depressive episode. My partner is very supportive, but also works long hours, which leaves me with a lot of time by myself. I was diagnosed with depression and anxiety several years ago and have mostly dealt with my illness well, but with no full-time work, no health insurance, and no support network, I'm starting to fall apart. I can barely get out of bed most days, and it's everything I can do to not start crying at work or at home. I've never had issues with self-harm or suicidal ideation, but my sense of despair and panic are about as bad as they have ever been.  Does anyone have any suggestions? I don't have the money for most forms of treatment right now, so I need more general ideas. Please help. I'm not sure how much longer I can keep going.

Hi Michael, yes I agree that just by moving a village away from our security blanket can make us feel completely isolated which doesn't help when you already suffer with panic and anxiety disorder, then on top of that if you also have depression it doesn't make it any easier,

okay have you actually considered joining a group of any form whether it be an exercise group or just a group of people who maybe are into books or any form of past time that would take your mind off of your inability to cope at the moment.

remember that you are really lucky to have a partner that supports you and understands what you're going through even if they can't be there for you 24/7, have you ever had any form of therapy before to help you cope, to be honest I'm not sure what's available in your country as I am presuming you are in the USA surely there must be organisations that cater for people with mental health issues that are free, a lot of churches offer support also this won't cost you anything, how about if you join a voluntary Society sometimes giving your time and energy to somebody else in need can help get ourselves back on an even Keel anything that can make you focus less on your emotional and physical state is good please come back and let me know how you're feeling I know I can't help very much but I'm always around to talk take care and God bless
