Sexual Dysfunction

Hello all, I was prescribed Lexapro recently due to some stress and gastrointestinal related issues. So far I've had no serious side effects except for it has dramatically lowered my sex drive and also  made it difficult to  get an erection and climax.  I am 836-year-old male with no other health issues and no prior issues before taking this medication. 

Be a wreck tile issues have been counteracted with Viagra, however I have absolutely no interest in sex whatsoever in less I stop taking the medication for a few days… Which causes  minor with drawl type symptoms. 

Leave reaching out to see if anyone had any advice about this and or possibly could make a recommendation for a Nother medication that works as well as Lexapro without the sexual side effects. Any help is much appreciated!

    Hi Albert, the good news is that you loose this drive for just about 8 to 10 weeks, once the drug settles in your system, your sex drive is back, stronger than before... trust me...

    I know its harder for man because erection issues are pretty obvious, but talk to your partner and hang in there, its only temporal... fear not!
