YES!!! It was absolutely frustrating, add on to the fact that it also lowers your sex-drive. So on those rare occasions when you're up for it, well, you're left wanting!!

I used to just give up in the end. Am not on them now but am on Sertraline now and antipsychotic meds to and its was as ever. Am a male and to be honest my Penis as all put vanished now. I came off them all after while ago by my self, the side effects were terrible but I suddenly felt like a could have sex normally again but sadly had to go back on them.

I have been on Venlafaxine a few months now (i am male). I have tried all of the SSRI's like Sertraline and many more and all of them i struggled to climax but since being on Venlaflaxine, my sex drive is way up, i am like a dog on heat.
It really is about trial and error. Write down what are your must haves and what you can live with out and research it. I have found now that as i have really intricate detail of how i feel etc, I almost tell my GP what i want and am quite insistent as GP's have so many patients nowadays they often struggle with my history etc.
