Hi Georgina. Thanks for asking. Still the same as you. Can't seem to shift it. Think I've just got into this bad habit of not breathing properly and can't seem to shift it. It is always there but to varying degrees. Totally p****d of with it. Take it ur the same

I know exactly what you mean. It's just there constantly, the minute i open my eyes in the morning. I've been to the doctors 3 times and they have told me the same thing each time and everything has come back normal. Think i am the same as you, got into a bad habit of breathing really shallow and feeling like i need to control my breathing otherwise i will stop and die. Its so uncomfortable. I know how you feel when you say your p****d off, i am the same. Im also bored of thinking about it all the time!!!

I am on Citalopram, have been for about 3 years now. Had tapered down from 20 to 10mg recently and was all ready to come off all together then this happened so i'm back at 20mg now. I have also been given Propranolol but haven't bothered taking it as i think it's only really useful with panic attacks or feelings of panic whereas I don't feel particularly panicked i just feel like i can't breathe. Although it has started to feel a bit better now and i've actually not thought about it for most of the day today which just feels weird.

I'm on 40mg citalopram and 160mg propanolol per day with 2mg diazapam if i feel panicky. Doesn't seem to be helping though. I was feeling ok until about lunchtime today when i could feel the tightness starting. Can't seem to ignore it even when busy. I'm sitting her yawning my head off trying to get a proper breath. It's the pits

Hi Moira, I'm not too bad thanks for asking. How are you? Having any better days at all? I'm having better days where I forget about it a lot more. The mornings are the worst though
