Sharp pain in left temple after I swallow a carbonated drink? Weird??

Dealt with migraines my whole life.  Those are under control.  The last 2 days, I have been drinking just a little diet 7 up and diet Dr Pepper as I just haven’t felt real well in general.  Otherwise quit soda months ago.  After I take a drink, after I swallow it, I get a very sharp pain in my left temple.  Does not happen with anything else.  Has never happened before.  Any ideas what might be causing this?  Thanks!
