sharp pains on right side nearly 4 weeks post op?

For the past week i have been getting sharp pains on my right side. Its painful to breath in. Ive had it a few times this week. It started again last night and still have it now.....sad is this normal?  im nearly 4 weeks post op.  Its like sharps pains on right side/ where gb used to be. I ddid start work last Monday and thought it was due to that, but not sure.

    I didn't have any pains aftergb surgery. Not normal. Go to Dr.

      Yes....i did go to my doctor, but they didnt seem concerned......started last night and still have have it right now at 6.00pm! Ive taken some ibrophen but hasnt helped.

      Too bad your doctor didn't give you some insight to what the pain was from. If he was not concerned it must be something they see often. If you do not feel comfortable with his information you could go to urgent care or ER. After my surgery like I said I had no pain. Listen to your instincts if you have insurance that will cover ER or Urgent Care go in.

      I had my gallbladder out 2 years ago. I had no problems after surgery. Felt great. And then after a month or so I started having bathroom issues. As in needing to sprint bathrooms . Not fun.

      Hope you feel better soon. You could also try calling the Ask-A-Nurse number. Although I think if you say you're in pain they will tell you to go to the ER. Hope everything turns out okay. Have a good day
