Sharp pelvic pains when sneezing, coughing, or moving abruptly

I'm 3 yrs post partial hystetectomy. Lately, i’ve been experiencing random sharp pains frequently in my pelvic area when sneezing or moving abruptly. I used to get them during my cycles at times or I can remember them during pregnancy, as well (but more frequent now) So, I’m not sure if it’s just pains from leftover ligaments with scar tissue or a perimenopause thing. Can anyone shed some light on this?

I haven't had a hysterectomy, but I do know what you mean. I get pelvic pain towards the end of my period into ovulation. It also comes on throughout certain times of the month. It feels exactly like when I was pregnant. I am not sure why it happens, but I have read it is one of the symptoms of perimenopause. It is definitely uncomfortable and painful at times (especially with the sneezing, etc.) Just know you aren't alone with your feeling! I pray it gets better for you!

I haven't had a hysterectomy, but I have these pains too. I get them mostly when I go from sitting to standing. Ive never noticed if it was only during my period, but do remember them during my pregnancies. I don't know what they're from, but have talked to enough women who had the same pains that Ive never been worried about them. I just assumed they were another symptom of my ever changing hormones.

Hello 😊
I haven't had a hysterectomy either, or actually a period lol but I have had as some major pelvic surgery and I do occasionally get pain, aching etc and used to get a terrible tightening when coughing and sneezing. Quite probably scar tissue, I swear to god it takes a while for everything to shuffle into a new place - but you could always get it checked out xx

I haven't have a hysterectomy, but I often have those pains while sneezing, especially if I am lying on my stomach. I refer to them as ovary pains. It is such a sharp and intense pain, I am frozen for a few seconds just trying to breathe through it. I have always had it, so for me it isn't peri related. Honestly, I never noticed when it my cycle it occurred. xo
