Sharp stomach pains + dark stool ???

I know I've come to this forum before with something familiar, but just as I was starting to get my worries somewhat under control...
As I mentioned in posts prior, I suffer heavily on a daily basis severe anxiety/stress/depression (all of which have been getting worse), and as of late I haven't neccessarily been eating/drinking as much as I used to. I don't have the energy or really the 'urge' for either most days, though there are periods where I'm extremely thirsty no matter how much water I drink.
As of last night I've been getting the worst sharp stomach pains! Abdomen/middle stomach/belly button area, and I had just gotten over 'that time' of month so I know it's not that...I haven't been able to 'go' much either, if at all. Prunes and general laxatives don't work well anymore if at all either. Fiber just makes my stomach pains worse.
I barely 'went' at all just about 30 minutes ago, and the stool that showed (sorry for graphics??) was almost completely round, but a dark color. I didn't see any blood though...
I'm 16, almost 17, and I'm terrified of cancer. (I've been battling fears of bowel/colon cancer and leukemia for about a month or two now.) Has anyone ever experienced this kind of symptom? How did you fix it?? I can't exactly 'relax', either, no matter how much i try...

Any pain should be investigated. Dark stools need to be xamined and sent to the lab for testing.

Have you had any tests and had any suggestions from the doctor? Your symptoms sound like IBS but go to your doctor if you haven't done so,

Try not to worry about cancer, your young and although cancer is not un heard of in young people its a very very unlikely cause to your issues. Stress and anxiety can however cause your bowel movements to change and in turn cause stomach aches. IBS comes in many different forms. People suffer with back ache, belly ache, rib cage ache. Your bowel is one of the biggest organs you have and is spread over a wide area of your lower body. However its very compact so if it spasms you will feel it in other areas of your stomach. The reasons for your belly aches are most likely due to changing your eating habbits. Anxiety and stress can wipe out your appetite, i know and understand the feeling especially if its associated with nasuea or fullness. But if you change your eating habbits, say only eat plain foods or high fibre foods your bowel movements will change. What you put in your mouth almost always comes out the other end. So depending on the foods your eating your stool colour may vary slightly. However if you go to the doctors then they will give you a stool pot and send it off for your peace of mind and to be 100% sure there is nothing wrong.
Try to regulate your eating pattern. 3 small meals a day (as small as you like) but try to incorperate some main vitimans into it. Foods with a little fibre (dont go mad on it) proteins, startch, plus fruits and vegs, also nuts are recorded to be good for IBS.
Drink plenty to. If your thirsty your dehydrated. So drink when you can. It will help.
I would book a doctors appointment and explain your symptoms. They will no doubt ask for a stool sample and may offer some blood tests. But you may find that by putting your mind at rest your body will return to normal (as normal as can be anyway)
Drugs and laxatives may not help in such cases. Your mind and your bowel are interlinked by 50 thousand odd sensers. Untill you settle your fears and anxiety your bowel cannot fully relax. The adrenaline will work over the drugs so dont go piling things in that dont work. Just try to relax.
Hope this helps!
