Sharp, sudden chest pain + uncomfortable pain on the left ribcage

Posted , 3 users are following.

So I've been getting sharp, sudden chest pains on the left side during the nights, which get worse when I breathe in. They only last for a couple of minutes, but it really hurts to breathe. Also, I've been getting pain on the left upper-mid ribcage, also during nights, which is kind of dull and feels like pressure. It lasts for about 15 minutes, and usually starts before I go to sleep. I've already seen a doctor about this, and litereally all he said was - I don't know. rolleyes Could anyone help me out here?

P.S. I'm a 16 year old female.

    Hi erika

The only thing I can suggest is to go to your local A&E, especially if your doctor is not doing anything.

Symptoms like this should never be ignored. Let us know how you get on.

    All the best.

The thing is though, this pain has been going on for the last 3-4 months 😕 And as bad as it is I don't think I need to go to a&e yet, as I get this pain pretty much every day. But thank you for your advice 😌

Go to a chiropractor and check your thoracic spine. I wasn't months of time getting my heart looked at and this is what it was
