I didn't have any issues with any of it after the surgery as a matter of a fact I felt surprisingly well ( maybe to well) I didn't take it easy like I should have I went back to work (on my feet all day) and seemed like I was doing good when actually I was hurting myself more than anything so at 4 weeks out I started having lots of pain and had to take another week off just to make it better so the only thing I would say would be to take it easy and don't do anything till at least 4 weeks out and still after that take it easy

I recently had hysterectomy 5 days ago and seem to be recuperating well. Feeling stomach pains and tightness at times, but is manageable with meds. I try to walk/no r around every hour. Seems to be going well. Just keep yourself well rested and walk.

Also wanted to add. I added prune juice to help with the stool softener, to help with constipation. Drink plenty fluids. You will be fine.

Hello Sharon,
I recommend getting that anti nausea medicine. They gave me a sticker behind my ear for it.. I would say it worked!! I felt better then ever after, I felt like i had the best 4 hour sleep i have ever had!! I didn't get any pain meds except Mortrin (Torbital) in my iv i chose not to get anything strong unless i really needed it.. I didn't need it. Also a few hours after surgery get up and walk the hallway. Gas pain in my shoulders and chest was the worse pain that I had.. I was up after 4 hours and walked around to get the gas moving around and out of there.. I sat upward for the most part.. I was out the next day.. 23 hours is all my insurance would pay. My full hysterectomy was done by robotic. I had Uterine Cancer.
