Hi Hipsters! Hope you all safe & doing well?

I wonder if anyone has had the same shin bone pain on their operated hip leg??

Ohhhhh it drives me crazy, especially at night. I'm 11 weeks in and have weird numbness around my knee and lower leg but the pain in my shin bone is a bit of a blow. Anyone else have this? It tingles then is just like a hot, deep pain. Gosh recovery is hard isnt it!

Appreciate any feedback from you lovely lot.

Xxx

I'm about 14 weeks pro-op of my TLHR and overall are happy with my progress.

Upto about 3 weeks ago, I was suffering what felt like nerve pain radiating from just above to just below my left knee when I bent it at least 60 degrees, it has disappeared now and I hope the same happens for you.

I'm nearly 10 months RTHR and amongst other pain pre op my biggest issue was pain in my shin area that would have driven me mad . on a pain score out of 10 it would have been a 7. I couldn't sleep very well at all. Initially thought it was sciatica but the specialist confirmed it was referred pain from hip . After op this went but occasionally i still get mild symptoms. Has this just started or has your exercise regime changed ?

hi I'm almost 12 months post OP and for a good few months had groin pain and pain to upper leg especially in bed. mine was muscular pain which improved once I'd upped my exercises and added others in as advised by GP and I got referred to physio to give me more advice re exercises. I admit atm that would be hard to be seen but check which exercises you can do. I still do mine a few times a week which keeps everything happy 😃
