    Hello Melody,

I certainly can empathize with your pain. I have had Shingles and the aftermath for 8 weeks tomorrow!  The pain has been unbearable at times!

I'm so glad you saw eye doctor as this location can be very serious. Please keep your hands washed and use hand sanitizer as you also keep your hands away from your eyes. This can be easily spread when the blisters have erupted. Typically they last 3-5 weeks. I pray yours is short lived. Tired is part of it along with headache, fever and flu like symptoms. It is quite debilitating and extremely painful. In all my nursing years, I heard of it but never realized its intensity! You need to rest if possible, stay hydrated, don't worry about eating if you're not hungry and keep hands away from lesions. Remember you are contagious when the blisters are weeping; contagious to anyone who has not had chicken pox or the vaccine.

    Get well soon🙏

I’m 10 weeks out and still dealing with debilitating fatigue.  Sleeping 11 hours/night, and I don’t wake up refreshed.  I’ve decided this is my new “normal”...
