Shingles after effects of extreme hot spots on skin

I am looking for anyone who has has random bouts of HEAT in their skin in the location of the rash? My rash has subsided and seems to have healed for the most part, but atleast once a day, the skin gets hot, like burning from the inside. I dont have any nerve stinging or burning pain anymore, but it really is just an uncomfortable hot spot on my skin. Has anyone else experienced this as an after effect of the shingles rash? I am hopeful that this is a normal thing, and will gradually start to be less and less of an occurance. It would put my mind at ease knowing its not just me! Thanks for reading!
