Shingles again? Please help

Posted , 1 user is following.

Hello everyone,

i had shingles this summer 1 month after the second dose of covid vaccine.

A week before shingles i had diarreha, chills, nausea, upset stomach and literally could not eat because adbominal cramps. These symptomps lasted a week, then the blisters appeared (and lasted for 3 weeks).

Now, one month after the third dose of covid vaccine, i have upset stomach, nausea and had fever for one day. Symptoms are not as severe as they were this summer, but my physician said that without rash he can't give me antivirals. The doctor also says that it is just a coincidence and i have nothing to worry about.

I also made blood test for antibodies to understand if the virus is active again and i am waiting for the results.

Should i wait till the outbreak before taking antivirals? Sounds crazy to me...
