    Hi Heather,

Sorry you've been feeling so poorly. You may be having a reaction to the prescription drugs you are taking. Try changing your diet. Eat only bland foods for a few days, soft foods, avoid vegetables and fruit until your digestive system is better. If that doesn't work, talk to your doctor about possible side effects of any of the drugs you are taking. Maybe there is an alternative to whatever substance you might be using.

      Thanks for your comments.

I have had the problem since before they diagnosed the shingles and I took the medicine. Mind you it got worse after taking the meds.

I am a very anxious person and this bout of illness has made me so down, so I dont know if it is anxiety that is causing all this and the pain is really not leaving.

      Sorry for moaning. Xx

      Hi Heather,

Severe anxiety can have a devastating effect on the body. I know. I developed extremely anxiety after getting shingles and then the nerve pain starting in Nov 2016. Research the symptoms of anxiety online and how to cope with it. Pain, especially nerve pain, is made much worse by stress.

If you can get your stress under control, your other problems will probably lessen.
