Shingles or not!

I had shingles on my chest, side and back about 2.5 years ago. After having them, I would have what I considered a flare. Itch, pain where they were and flu like symptoms, and a muscle twitch in my shoulder and arm. This would last for a few days. After battling this and seeing different doctors to no avail seeing I did not have rash to go with it, they would not give me more antiviral, I just suffered through it. I then lost a job for missing too many days, I finally found a doctor that listened, he gave me more antiviral and also found that I was vitamin D deficient. It took about a month before I went back to work because I wanted to make sure it was gone. I had a 2 day flare in fall of last year. I go the covid-19

Shot, after the first one no issues, after the second one I had a 1 day flare. 3 weeks later I had a flare, doctor gave me antiviral, for 14 days after talking him into it. Felt better for about a week and a half and now it's been flaring for 2 weeks, with the usual burning, itching, on my back, flu symptoms, night sweats, but no rash. As it has progressed I have itching on my face, scalp, forehead, swelling in my neck, eyes feel funny, and equilibrium issues. So the big question is it shingles or something else, doctor says it is not and will not give antiviral, even though it helps get rid of the symptoms.
