Greetings everybody,
Has anybody used any type of creams to fade or help the scars from shingles? I'm on my third week and a half and the marks from the shingles breakout are still there. it still has a slight red/maroon color.

They fade on their own eventually but you could try Bio oil or Vit E oil and massage in maybe twice a day or more if you wish. They are both supposed to help heal scars so it's worth trying and let the rest of us know if it works! lol

Hi Texas,you're running the same time as me,my spots have disappeared ,there were few in number I have it on my right just below.my collarbone the pain in my jaw and neck is now unbearable, I used tea tree oil on the spots/scars

What type or brand of tea tree oil did you use? I was worried that putting certain chemicals might irritate it.

Hi, I think as long as the blisters are dry and healing it'll be fine Texas,it's if there weeping that infection could happen, I got a small bottle in liquid form from Holland and Barrett ,bought a dropper at my chemists and used sparingly
