My husband had a polyps removed from inside his ear 4 years ago. He's always had ear problems since a child through ear perforated drum. Since the removal of polyps he now has serious balance problems. He's fallen odown a few times. All they say in the ENT clinic is to do exercises of moving his head back and fro before getting up from a chair or bed. These episodes of unbalance are getting worse when just walking or moving around in the house. We know the polyps removal is the cause of the imbalance, surely there must be something that can be done. They say it's due to five tubes inside his ear that's causing these problems! Totally confused!!!!!

Not sure what the 5 tubes are,but could the ENT people mean the semi circular canals in the ear?

Has your husband been given the Epley exercises to do?   You can find lots of articles on the internet showing how to do this properly and he may need some help from you to do them properly.
