shivers all over but back feels hot

I'm having what I can only describe as hot and cold shivers and I don't know what's causing it I haven't felt right all day due to tight / numb throat feeling almost like a bubble was init I ignored it got on with my day now tonight I have these odd shivers / sweats everybody has said my head feels normal temp s but I also have a ringing like when somebody hits a big symbols and it lasted for ages freaking me right out I seem to not be able to think straight im talking all wrong I try to think buy I can't think of the most obvious things I have forgot how to word things aswell I have to keep stopping as Writting this in freaking out so badly these shivers are asif something bad is happening inside my body right now !

last night u had breathing problems but I stopped it by taking my mind of everything and doing other thing but even doing other things now I still have this feeling I don't know what's going on I'm so scared

    hi steph - i have had something like that before. tremors/shivering/shakes, but inside my body. i usually get it near my abdomen and legs. i try to "shake them off" by tapping my feet, bouncing bouncing my legs, walking around, basically, taking my mind off it by being active. they usyally go away within 30 mins for me. maybe try 4-7-8 breathing if you need to calm down?

    Hi, it sounds like anxiety to me but to be sure visit your doctor just for some reassurance. Are you worrying about anything more than usual? I started meditation around 6 months ago and haven't had palpitations like I was having since. There are many to start with and focusing your mind on other things helps a lot. Also teaching yourself to breath. This will all be part if meditation. If do them late at night or whilst in the bath and it's hel

      It's helped me with my health and my anxiety. If you need any more advice or info pls feel free to ask. Have a go at some if u tube and see if you feel any different from trying some out. I hope you get to the bottom if it all soon bad start to feel more yourself.

    Thanks all of you im still having it today at random times I also now started with phantom smells in my nose really scaring me I have been to doctors over 20 times within last 7 months I feel I'm crazy although my head tells me I'm ill .

    I have tried diffrent thing cbt meds and even mediatation I tried changing my diet and also reading anxiety books even though I do understand anxiety it's like my brain won't wrap around how the symtoms are anxiety 😣 .

    I'm feel constantly ill and run down xx

      Steph. How long did you do CBT for? I know its not for everyone but last time I had health anxiety I had really in depth sessions for about 4 months and I was able to manage my anxiety for 4 years. This time they're just giving me self help talking sessions which are really not helping. I'm going to ask for the other sessions to get to the route cause of my anxiety this time.

      I'm having the hot back thing though. My Gp says its muscular but I doubt them. I'm thinking of going to a chiropractor this week for a second opinion as it could be as I suffered with back problems in all my pregnancies. I think with health anxiety when u get one symptom you start scanning your body for more problems and then rack your brain for possible causes. Like me i started with health anxiety in December, missed a period in march, Gp blamed anxiety and stress for this. Put me on the pill and I had awful pains and cramps so of course my head is thinking alsorts now especially having lower back pain too. I'd go see your Gp again and ask for advice hun x

      Hi again, bless I really feel for you because it's very difficult to switch off what are brains are telling us. I know because I'm a terrible worrier myself. Have you been diagnosed with a condition and have you asked your doctor if it may be an option to see a physiatrist just to see if they can recommend anything else? There the professional when it comes compulsive conditions and metal health etc. it could just be a time in your life that you soon over come but it sounds as though you may need to have a closer look at your health, so sone bloods taken and maybe see somebody you can talk to about what and how your feeling. In the meSn time take done vitamins and eat good fresh foods, sleep well because sleep is of a huge importance to are state of minds, and keep up with meditation. I do it on a daily basis, so in the bath, in bed. When Evers convienient. The more you do it the better you'll feel. There areabyvto choose from, even for mental health, the mind etc. Also do you have other things to focus on? Finding hobbies, reading, other ways to kept your mind off of your health. You will find the more you think about feeling Ill the worse you'll feel. So if you do the opposite you'll notice such an improvement. For example eating this apple is making me feel better because it's very good for me, things like that to encourage your thought process and your health will follow.

      Thank you I did cbt for about 3 and half months I was given longer but my cbt worker felt it wasn't the right time in life it didn't really do anything for me she was telling me things I already knew and also not very understanding have meetings like cbt back in 2012 after having a difficult birth I went straight into freak out and it helped the women was loverly she listened to all my problems this time around the women didn't want to hear my problems and said that's not part of cbt which I thought it was as I felt talking about every him really helped lag time anyways I do know the ins and outs of anxoety but unfortunately my brain won't register it as anxiety if that makes sence .

      I can imagine as I had missed periods for more than 3 months and also two a month for 8 months and I was worried so much so I know kinda what you have been through as to where this all really started was because of that and ended up miss carrying I belived I had something awful .. so I do also understand where it came from this time but my cbt worker also told me I will have anxiety for life because I have had it all my life in flare up throughout which put me down a lot she said it was part of who I am now 😔 I hope you get answers or relife for your back it's frustrating when you don't know but also if you have had epidural during birth my mum still complains about her back and it's been 23 years now hun xx
