Heres what I discovered:
Sketcher Professional Go Walk 4. This version is different than the others. It has a thicker softer footbed but has been redesigned with a narrower, tighter fit, smaller narrower toe box and slightly shorter length. I liked the way this one looked the best and liked the different cut and way it held my foot. HoweverI just couldn’t make it work for me. If you have a slightly narrower and shorter foot this style will probably work great for you.
Sketcher Professional Go Walker 3. This style was my least favorite because of a thinner cushioning footpad. It’s overall design is like the others with a wide toe box.
Sketcher Professional Go Walker with Memory Foam. This one was the most expensive one by $15. It was noticeably more comfortable and cushiony without sacrificing any of the support and stretch. It did seem to run slightly longer and wider. I kept this one which came in a black looking canvas with white sole.
Original Professional Go Walk slip on. I found this style to also have the traditional soft, cushioning feel and support with the standard big toe box. I kept it in a multi color knit.
The prices for all of these styles vary greatly depending on style, size, and color. They all fit very similarly.
Im confident these shoes are going to really make a difference in being able to comfortably walk as I transition from the boot to shoes. Long term and as theswekking hopefully disparate, I’m not sure. But initially I can’t imagine putting my foot in anything else. The shoes are featherlight and washable, can be worn with socks or without. And the price reasonable.
I cant thank Pattie enough for recommending these, I think they will be areal game changer!
