Probably. I had that sort of pain up my arm for first few months, sharp and unexpected, takes your breath away. No idea what caused it but totally gone now. I am 13 months post op.

I have just had more tests for trapped nerve in arm which has not been confirmed and told this is pain .honest you get use to the pain it's now everyday life for me .i found by keeping it really warm helped took everywhere a micovave neck warmer and also when it happens holding it right to the body as stretching made it much worse .keep going it will get better

I'm sorry to hear that you're still in so much pain an entire year later. Will keep my fingers crossed that you won't have to go through another surgery. I will definitely follow the tips you gave me. Thanks!!!!!

Well it is just normal.Gradually it will go away.I had the same problem after operation. Now much better but am still having pain inside around the scar and light swelling still there. You have to massage the scar area with bio-oil or the cream prescribed by the consultant
