Short air boot hurts shin

I just got my short boot today due to tendonitis,it hits my shin and hurts,does that mean it's not the right size??

    Hi Carrie, 

    Just call your docs office and tell them what you are experiencing. They will have you go in and be fitted again. But keep in mind there is pain, uncomfortable feeling with casts and boots.

    CAM boots come in various configurations and sizes. Please make sure you are wearing a boot that fits you appropriately.

    If the short length boot (they in the taller calf length sizes too) is rubbing against your shin that suggests to me that your boot is not properly and snugly fitted on your foot. Your heel should be firmly up against back of boot, and its air bladders should be fully inflated to prevent any movement of foot/ankle inside boot. Wear plush, well padded socks too for more comfort.
