    Hi Bev

oh i hear you. my memory is shocking and ive had all of your symptoms ....but they do ease with time. but my memory is not the best and have to check things several times...locking my doors, my car. turning off the oven...

i dont have the same confidence i once had.

It can be embarrassing at times. words get jumbled and cant remember peoples names etc.

Part of the course and you are not alone. CK

Hi there, there definitely is a correlation I feel with the drop in hormone levels in menopause and memory. There must be some research on it? I am 5 years into menopause and this is probably my main issue now, apart from feeling a little flushed at times and digestion issues!

Having said that getting older in general is a bit trying at times, particularly having to wear spectacles to read anything!

I use to be brilliant at remembering people's names, their children's names and so on., my spelling was also fantastic. But now I do struggle remembering names at the time, but it does eventually come to me. Also I try to keep my mind active with quizzes and word games to keep my mind alert.

It is annoying more than anything. I just need to be more organised and prepared when meeting people. I also make copious notes and tick lists in order to feel efficient and more confident in what I am doing. We can get through this! X
