Shortness of breath

hi. i was out walking and experienced a shortage of breath with severe pressure in chest. i couldnt go any further. i stopped but pressure remained. i called an ambulance. in hospital they performed tests. then told me my heart was ok. also my lungs were ok. they didn't really know what caused it. they gave my nitrolingual pump spray which may not be suitable all the time. im amazed how they cant find the reason. im also insulin dependent diabetic with 3 cardiac stents in situ. not a nice combination. im 68 years old but apart from this trouble, everything is working fine. in the house, situation is calm re chest. but i tried walking outside a few times and it wasnt working. im going to a private hospital on tuesday to get a second opinion. any advice welcome. cheers Kevin.
