Im. 58yrs old with COPD. Diviculittis amd. Cysts on my. Liver benign ones also have Obs shpuld i apply for. Pip

    Hi,

    Based on a diagnosis, then no because it's not awarded based on any diagnosis, it's how those conditions affect your ability to carry out daily activity based on the PIP descriptors.

    Evidence will be needed to support your claim because they very rarely contact anyone for this. The evidence you send should state how your conditions affect you against the PIP descriptors. Expect a face to face assessment because most people have them, it's rare to have a paper based assessment.

    My advice is to have a look at the PIP descriptors, do some extra research to have some understanding because it's not always possible to score the points you think you should score.

    An application could take several months maybe more. Links can't be posted here, otherwise i'd post some for you. Lots of information available through google.
