Should I be concerned?

Hello folks,

Just back from physio.

Bend is just over 90 and hasn't really increased significantly in the last 2 weeks which sort of surprised me. Im definitely stronger and there are things I can do today that I couldn’t 2 weeks ago so I don't really understand it. For those who have maybe experienced this before, is this something to be concerned about. Is it normal to be fixed at one position for a length of time before the knee decides to move forward again?

Could be just a bit of patience on my part. Don't know. That hasn't always been one my strongest characteristics. haha

    Hi peter

although yuo need to take note of your phsio progress dont let it put you off as your knee went through a lot as did mine and like you I had a few visits where there was very little change well two, to be exact but what u dont want to do is over do the bending because there was no improvement or it will swell and you will get even less for a few days

my best results are after a hot bath soaking of my leg then I go

to the stairs at the bottom and stand facing them as if im going to go up, I place my butchered leg on step 1 or 2 try either for

comfort then my good leg on the floor and start to lean it to the

stairs slowly bending my opperated leg dont put too much weight forward on your bad leg at first if you find your knee touches the step before your leg bends far enough then put your bad leg up to 2nd step and repeat forgot to mention my opp was a full

knee one ( TKR ). Dont forget to soak leg in bath first the sot water freed my leg off better than the cold ice water pack. Paul
