Should I be concerned

So I had to put the picture as my profile picture since I can't figure out how to add a picture here talk about annoyed but I have had this irritation in the corner of my mouth first this time last year and now this year for 2 weeks, last year I thought it was just a cut but now I am getting concerned I should be tested for herpes. I however have tried a antiviral cream to get rid of it and moisturizing both don't help! Am I just being paranoid? Please see profile pic to see irritation.
