Should i claim dla for my son?

Just after peoples veiws on this one ive had alot of people say i should be claiming dla for my son as he has nystagmus and it affects his every day life and it gets alot worse for him when he is ill as his eyes go even faster than what they normally do which effects his ability to stand or walk he also fazes out like nobody there and he goes unresponsive for a little bit before he loses his blance he is only 3 years old and has constant appointments at a specialist eye clinc.

    If it affects his life and you have evidence then why not? No harm in putting in a claim they can either say yes or no. Good luck.

    Hi I agree with Denise.  You have nothing to lose by putting a claim in so why not?  Get help filling the forms in though either from the CAB or a local disability helpline.
