Should I continue diltiazem cream after botox for fissure?

As above, i am unsure if i should be using diltiazem cream as i have had the botox under general 6 days ago.

Has anyone been advised by a specialist on this? . I want to make sure i do everything possible to make the most chance of healing whilst the botox is in effect.

I probably don't need to describe the pain to readers of this forum, but the botox has been good so far. It is far from healed, there is still plenty of pain in the morning, but at least i can stand up during the day which i couldn't do for long before!

thanks

I would use the cream until fully healed. Anal fissure takes a long time to heal from. Your chances also depend on your side by consuming enough fiber or the amount you need to have a soft stool without forcing it out. Water also very important as you know. Stool softeners. These things do not go away so easily. Surgery is just the tool to set us on our way to recovery. I hope you continue to feel better and speedy healing.

Thanks. I am going back to the cream. I already drink large quantities of water and buy laxido by the case!
