Should I get some help now?

I was eating my breakfast sandwich this morning and a small piece of bagel bread slipped inside my throat that wasn't fully properly chewed, might of got stuck in my throat. I'm really nervous right now since I feel like I might have to go to the ER for it, I feel the sensation there, but I'm not choking on my food. It has been an hour since I last ate my meal, but I'm still worried. Should I be fine if I can breathe and drink still? I never feared of choking of 24 years of being alive and have always ate normally, but it's now like everytime I eat something, I feel something stuck most of the times, even when I chew my food very well to avoid choking.

anxiety is causing fear. And fear is just an emotion. It is not based on fact. That is basically what is going on with you right now. If you are able to breathe and swallow then you are not choking and there is nothing there. Anxiety can give you that sensation. Try desensitizing yourself by just eating something very tiny to start with. When that goes well, try a little more etc. another thing is don’t focus on yourself when you are eating. Do something else like watch TV or talk to somebody. The more you focus on it the more you will overthink. You’re OK. Believe me, you would know it if something was actually stuck in your throat!
