Should I go back, just so worried!

Hi, can any body offer any reassurance at all? After being ill with ibs problems for about 3 weeks I know I need to go back to my counsellor but have heard nothing from them since I updated them about my health. I still am waiting to go for a scan a week on Friday week to see if I have any other health problems. Would my counsellor see me after so many weeks? Why haven't they responded to my messages? Where do I begin when I go back. I need to do this to mend my ptsd to move my life forward. Just scared I'll be rejected now after not being there. Can't help being ill, unsure what to do for the best.

It may be your course of CBT is over, discuss that with your GP if the CPN.

One thing I would advise however is next time you see a specialist and you register at reception ask to be put on the mailing list and you will get a copy of all correspondence sent to your GP.

    Good luck with your scan

Hi border river thanks for your reply, I am not having cbt, I am seeing a ptsd counsellor (a specialist) who can see me I think as long as I'm well, my worry is the counselling is vital but it's hurting my physical health I think, so how do I get 1 right to have the other one right. I'm concerned obviously - luckily I have a doctors appointment tomorrow am. I'll ask my doctor she'll have to do something otherwise I will for go the counselling, I'll have to reluctantly, but she told me to have more. Confused now what do I do?
