Should I go off Zoloft

I’ve been on 25mg of Zoloft for 9 days and have extreme nausea and tiredness. I can’t even work the symptoms are so bad. Has anyone experienced this and if so did you stay on the med or change meds? Any help is appreciated.

Comfy it takes a while to get in your system, symptoms will pass, try taking your pill at night or when you finish work so the initial symptoms happen at night which should allow you to work x

Thanks Kerry, I have been taking it before bedtime and by morning Ifeel so sick that I can hardly function.  I don’t think this is the right one for me as the side effects are so bad at the lowest dose.  Dr decided to have me stop the med.

I do know nausea is v v common with Sert, and is often the reason why some people discontinue its use.

Have a chat with your GP to see what alternatives he/she can suggest to try - there are lots of other options ... Citalopram for example.

      Hoping for you x
