Should I go to a and e?? Help please!

I am currently at my wits end. For the past month, I have been suffering with blurry vision, dizziness and pressure in my head, particularly around my nose and cheekbones. I have been to the opticians, who has said my eyes looked fine and I didn’t need glasses (this was a month ago).

I’m the past 2 weeks, things have got much worse. The pressure in my head was constant and severe and my eyes have become so blurry on and off that I am really stressing out about it. So 2 days ago, I rang the 111 and managed to get an out of hours appointment with a GP. He diagnosed me with a sinus infection, prescribed me amoxicillin and Sudafed and I was sent home. I was a little skeptical, because I didn’t think a sinus infection could cause eye problems this bad, to the point that they are flickering an twitching uncontrollably. Anyway, that was yesterday and I have been trying to rest today but it has got to the point that I can’t even see straight. I am worried that the Infection has spread to my brain (yes, I have been googling but right now it seems like a real possibility). I should also note that if I run my hand over my forehead, I can feel inverted indents and lumps and bumps. Is this normal?? Should I go to a and e for further tests?? Please help, this vision is making me fear for my health 😫

Without trying to escalate any feelings of anxiety, and considering how long this has been going on, I would go to the walk in Docs or make an emergency appointment and be quite insistent on your worries being taken seriously.

I have seen two different ENT specialists, didn't like the first, and I am three weeks post OP from FESS surgery.

Prior to my surgery my sinus pressure and pain, inc some eye pain went on for months.

Post nasal drip, with a bad throat, was constant as well as ear pain.

So sinus issues can be pretty bad at times and antibiotics did nothing for me.

I do irrigate twice a day, that is absolutely needed, do you..?
