The other night I landed awkwardly on the side of my foot, and since this happened I haven't been able to put any weight on it. It's bruised with a blue tint underneath and I can feel a bump under my skin. I'm not sure if this is just bad bruising or anything worse, it's causing me quite a lot of pain, is it worth going down to the hospital to get it checked out?

I've been to the hospital since and found that I've broken my 5th metatarsal. Been given a walking boot. Thanks anyway
