Should I Go To The Hospital? Possible Overdose.

Posted , 4 users are following.

I have depress really bad ( I'm diagnosed with major depression ) and on impulse I took 25 200mg ibuprofen.

I did it and it felt like an out of body experience, like I wasn't totally sure of what I was doing until I did it.

I just took them. I'm 5'7 weight about 168 and I'm 20 years old.

Should I go to the hospital or will I be fine? What could happen to me. ( I'm calling my p therapist first thing in the morning if hospital isn't needed. I need to get this under control.)

Hi Jamie...I am so sorry that you feel so sad...

I think your safest option is to phone the medical emergency advice helpline....they are amazing ....just call 111...they will tell you if you need to be seen...I phoned not too long ago....as I was on the phone to them...an ambulance arrived...

Ibuprofen can cause stomach bleeds. So PLEASE call 111 now !!! Even just to put your mind at rest....I hope that all is okay....bless you....( I have done it three times. ) so I do understand ....hugs Dee xx xxx call now !!!'

    Hi jamie

totally agree with Deirdre's advice, you need urgent professional medical advice, sooner rather than later. Phoning out of hours number, 111 or even a walk in centre, if there's one near you, will all give you advice.

dont panic, we've all done similar things. I hope you get the help you need.

    take care

Best to do as the ladies say, just to be on the safe side mate as everyone is different & reacts differently to different medications.

I'm sorry you felt there was know way out when you decided to do this, please talk to someone that can help you.

Good luck Jamie. Take care mate
