Should I pursue my symptoms?

Hello,
So, about 2 weeks ago I went to my doctor because I have been experiencing frequent urinaton for the past month. There I told them I was worried about diabetes (my aunt is the only one in the family that I know of). So he told me to do a urine test, which they said was protocol before further test would be given. Anyways I did the urine test and he told me he did not detect sugar or protein but he did detect a little infection. So, they gave me the medication for UTI and sent me off. After finishing my medication, which made my frequent urination worse, I still experience freqeunt urination. Just yesterday my friend noticed that I peed at 1:30 then at 3:00 and then after drinking a lemonade drink from starbucks I peed again an hour later. I was wondering if I should go back to my doctor for a follow up? also I don't know if this is in my head but I feel like I am experiencing random tingles in my hands and excessive hunger ( I don't know if this is in my head). I say this because few weeks ago I 'started' to have trouble with my eyes which went away.

If you have any concerns about your medical condictions then the best person to talk to is your doctor. You know your body better then anyone else. If you feel there is a reason for concern then best to act on it.
They should give you a test where you fast in the morning, have a urine sample take along with a blood test the a sweet drink which they will supply you then nothing else for two hours then another blood test. This will tell you where you stand in relation to blood sugars. If you are not offered this test then ask for one. If they will not then go to another doctor who will I an sure will give you one. Doctors are not gods, use them as a survise provider because that is what they are. They provide a medical service.
Regards
Tangles.

I was also incredibly tired and weak and my vision became very blurred resulting in my having to give up driving for a couple of months until my diabetes was under control and my eyesight returned to normal.
I'm not suggesting that you wait until you're as bad as this before seeing your GP but if he did a urine test and there was no indication of diabetes then it's probably an infection of some kind.
If you're really worried the ask for a gloucose test and blood test.
Hope this helps

Please go and see your doctor again and explain to him your still having problems, before seeing him ask for a sample pot to do another water sample to take with you, it Must be the first urine you pass when you wake up in the morning as this is more accurate and is more likely to show any real problems including glucose. Normally a doctor will not ask for blood tests if there is no glucose in your urine.
glucose is normally how diabeties is detected, other symptoms are not only being very thirsty but also boils or abcesses that won't heal.
