Should I worry about this situation?

Hi,

I have a question about mono reactivation that I cant find online or I at least cant phrase it correctly when Im researching. I had recently kissed a girl who contracted mono exactly a year ago and a couple of days after we kissed she also contracted COVID. I think a couple of months after she got mono she had a flare up from stress, so Im a little worried I might contract mono from her. At what point is a person contagious if their flare up is from an illness such as COVID? Before or after symptoms appear?

I would take a mono spot test and ask the doctor for advice. Most people have already been exposed to EBV, the virus that causes mono. The doctor could also test you to see if you have had past exposure.
